St Hildas School

A Royal Clean-Up

This week saw St Hilda’s pupils taking part in Clean for the Queen, an initiative which is aiming to clear the country of litter in celebration of the Queen’s birthday.

Upper School girls descended upon King George’s Park, determined to leave it clear of any refuse, wearing high vis jackets, gloves and tiaras with pride! While the Upper School worked hard in the local area, Lower School girls made the school spick-and-span with their efforts in the playground and corridors.

Miss Charles overheard some girls making up their very own litter-picking song whilst others left feeling inspired to write to the Queen about their afternoon. We are sure that the Queen will be feeling very proud of how tidy Bushey and St Hilda’s are looking after the girls’ amazing effort.
