Harvest Festival

Harvest Festival is time where we can be thankful for all that we have, and to thank those who support us in helping us to have everything we need. At our Harvest Assembly  we heard a story from Rev Tony called The Man Who Planted Trees written by Jean Giono. It was about a man who was determined to plant 100 acorns each year and from a desolate waste land he created not only a forest but a thriving village, making a huge impact on the lives of others with such a small act. We were overwhelmed with the generous donations which were brought in for Harvest Festival. The volunteers from the Watford Foodbank have sent their thanks as every single item donated will make such a difference to those in need.
